Not Top 5 Tuesday
I've been to the gym every day except Sunday. Saturday I went to the gym and then came home and walked to the park with the kids, so they could play at the little carnival that was going on. Hunter had fun and this time he actually got up the nerve to go down the big slide (the blow up kind). Last time they had the carnival he was still pretty shy and there were bigger kids that scared him off.
The mail has been smothering me this last week, and I'm hoping it will let up soon. All the political stuff should stop soon after election day, and I hope that helps things, I can't take much more of this. I've been working longer days and combining that with the gym doesn't even leave time for sitting down to read much until after the kids are in bed.
I'm almost done with Eclipse, the third book I was reading. It's very good. I stayed up until midnight last night reading it....just couldn't put it down.

Top 5 Tuesday
With a little help from Krystyn this week.....I had her make me a really cool new badge that you can copy and use on your blog. I don't know how to do the little code box yet, but hopefully I'll figure that out soon. You ready? Here it is!
<p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5249054154126660434" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJDNZ6653qCTj_BKF-BF_eSRrY0WWXImeJUDCJbySvaKHxBP5i3P62EySyiuJ9i0z7SOpGtp8MB2ovyIQ67sXcl6so4m48gdKbvC9cZtIlqMi7zT0nRoMNCOWMxKt7wqvwmHPYPLfvxfs/s320/Top-5-Tuesday.jpg" border="0" /> </p><p>
And for this weeks topic, thanks to Jen at Momma Blogs Alot...What are your top 5 favorite or least favorite things about where you are currently living?
I decided for my Top 5 I would choose my favorite things about the Phoenix area.
1. I like that it's warm all year. I wanted to move here because I really hate cold weather, and if we move, that is probably going to be the thing I miss the most.
2. I like the views. We live close to Superstition Mountain, and see it every day. We also have views of the San Tan Mountains, and Four Peaks.
3. Since I started golfing last year I'm loving all of the golf courses around here. Another reason I wanted to move here was my ambition to go to school and become a landscape architect....but life happens.
4. Boston Market. At last check Iowa didn't have any. Our closest one is in Tempe, and I will occasionally drive 25 minutes there (usually during rush hour) just to get some of their awesome turkey and mashed potatoes.
5. Last but not least, the monsoon storms. I love it when they come up out of nowhere. I love the smell in the air after the rain, you won't experience it anywhere else.
Now it's your turn! I wanna know. And as always if you don't have a blog feel free to leave your top 5 in the comments. And if you do blog, make sure you link up!

Top 5 Tuesday
This week's Top 5 Tuesday topic:
You get to pick. List 5 of your favorite blogs, pet peeves, best moments, whatever you happen to be thinking of, just list it. Of course you have to include details on why it's in your top 5.
Top 5 random thoughts in my head right now.
1.It's Monday- that should just say it all right there. I'm tired, and I'll probably end up dreaming about work tonight (which is what I do when I have to learn a new route.....I'm not learning a new one, but mine has drastic delivery changes right now.)
2. I have so much going on I can't keep my head straight. I'm thinking that if I can't keep up with one blog, how would I ever keep up with 2? Also, I really need to clean my house, and it's at the point of distraction.
3. Last week I made a really big mistake at work (ok, not that bad, but I can't believe I did it), never got in trouble, and finally corrected it on Saturday, but I am still pretty mad about the management not really doing anything about it.
4. I was supposed to go to a mom's group thing tonight with my neighbor, but I worked later than usual, and then Rylie threw up on me 2 times.
5. I've been starting to exercise a little lately, and I'm going to try to really cut back on my Dr. Pepper addiction, which I know is going to cause some major headaches, but it will be worth it if I can get rid of the belly.
So let me hear whatever random top 5 you wish to write about this week. And even if you're late, still come over and link up, no matter what day it is (or, even if you want to do last weeks).

Top 5 Tuesday
So here are my answers:
1.) How long have you been blogging?
Well, according to my blogger account I've had my blog since June of 2007. But if you look back at my past posts, I really started blogging around April of this year, so those first
2.) Link to your first blog post ever?
Well, I'm going to cheat and do 2. My actual first post is here and my first real good post (IMO) is here.
3.)What is the one driving force that actually made you create that blog account?
My mother. She just can't get enough of all the stuff the kids are doing since she doesn't actually get to be here to see it. We have a website on MyFamily.com that we all go to, and I am also part of an online moms group, and most of the time I opted out of participating because I didn't want to type an update and just copy/paste it somewhere else, but I also didn't have time to type everything twice. This way I only have type it once and then people can check in when they feel like it, or like some, they can subscribe by e-mail, or in their reader, or bookmark it.
4.)How did you come up with your blog name and what were other names you considered?
My original name was AZ Piper's, because I have some serious naming issues. Seriously, I had issues with my kids names too!!! At the time I didn't really know of the whole wide world of blogging, so I didn't really consider any other names. When the time came to do my blog makeover I asked for opinions, and I definitely had people come through with a lot of good ideas. I wound up doing an update post, and I had updated on this post which became my new blog title.
5.) Post a link to your favorite blog post ever. Hmm, that's a toughie. Let me think........I would definitely say my Penis Razor post was my absolute favorite, but I had to take it down for now. There were some references that I decided would be best not published. So after that one, I am going to have to say this post. It's really recent, and I think as I look back there are a lot of posts I absolutely loved, like this one, and this one, but it seems like there aren't very many that I've done really well. Everyone seems to like my post office stories.....but let's face it, I spend 6 days a week at that place so they just aren't my favorites.
I think this post gets the award for most linkage out of any of my posts thus far.
I can't wait to see everyone's answers!!!!

Top 5 Tuesday
This weeks Top 5......
What are your Top 5 Hobbies/Things you like to do when you're not blogging?
I think mine fall in no particular order. (See, I can't even make a concrete decision, let's hope no one has a life or death emergency that depends on my nonexistant decision-making skills).
- Read a good book. It's not very often I get to do this though.
- Watch movies...at home on my couch. I'm not a huge fan of spending a fortune just to say I've seen the newest movie out there.
- Scrapbooking. Another thing that I rarely get to do. I have too many little hands that want to "help" me, and until I decide to invest in a little scrapbook kit for them (that you know they'll never use, cause it's just not as good as mommy's), it's going to have to be a rarity. That's why I love my blog, because I can still preserve my memories, and hopefully when I go back to do my scrapbooks I will be able to use some of this nonsense to remind me of things.
- Bake/cook. I've always enjoyed cooking, my mother taught me well. I hope one day I can enjoy spending time cooking with my kids (Hunter "helped" me bake cookies yesterday, and it was bordering awfully close to fun).
- Paint/ crafts- I don't know exactly what you'd call it, I like to sew, paint things, decoupage, just get creative in general. Yet another "thing" I don't get to enjoy much. I guess I just don't have the patience for cleaning up messes that my kids make while I'm trying to work on something. I also hate to start something that I can't finish (all at once), it's just one of my many quirks.
- I had to put one thing that I actually get to do often, which is watching my kids sleep. No explination needed.
So now it's your turn. Let us in on the things that make your life worth living (besides blogging of course). And as always, if you don't have a blog, feel free to leave your 5 things in the comments.

Top 5 Tuesday
I was listening to my iPod the other day when I came up with this one. Do you ever watch a movie because you just love the music so much? Maybe I'm strange, but I really like movie soundtracks, the ones with the actual film scores. I mean, I like movies with great songs, but I also like the background stuff. I wanted to do something really cool and add a music player with my favorite songs from my top 5, but I just am not that good with technology yet I guess.
So my top 5 this week is...
Top 5 Movie Soundtracks
1.My first one is Robin Hood Prince of Theives. One of my all time favorites. I just love the music, and I'm not talking about the Bryan Adams song, although I did listen to that one about 8 million times, or until the tape wore out. The song I really like is the main theme song.
2. Castaway. Again, I love the theme music. At the end of the movie when he's visiting Helen Hunt's character the music is playing when they are outside in the rain.
3. City of Angels Alanis Morrisette, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Sarah McLachlan, what else do I need to say there.
4. Dazed and Confused. Great movie (even though I was never a rebel stoner) and an even better soundtrack.
5. Backdraft. Another one with a really awesome film score. I don't know what it is, but I can listen tho the entire CD over and over.
Sorry my answers were so short, I'm trying to get this done so I can get to bed at a decent hour and still give everyone time to come up with your answers. As always, if you don't have a blog, feel free to list your favorite's in the comments, and to those of you who have some serious problems limiting yourselves, by all means, go for 10! Have fun!

Top 5 Tuesday Preview
Since I was a little late deciding on this she had a hard time coming up with something on the spot, so I'm going to give her another chance for next week.
This week is going to be ....
Name your Top 5 reasons you love to blog.
- I get to be completely narcissistic if I want.
- I love getting comments.
- I love when people agree with me (since I know I'm always right)
- If someone doesn't like what I have to say they can just not come back, as opposed to saying something mean (of course, I know that's not necessarily true).
- I have someplace to store my memories for my kids, and it looks good, unlike a boring WP program.
Now it's your turn!!!! Show me whatcha got! As I've said before, you can either create your own post and link up, or just leave it in the comments. Thanks for playing.

Top 5 Tuesday
What are your Top 5 Favorite Places to Shop? ( I hate shopping, so this is a stretch for me).
- Target. What can't you find there? I like their clothes, affordable, and stylish. It's so much cleaner than that other store that I'm forced to shop in because of my after-work appearance. I'm hoping the one right next to us will be opening early next year, then I can shop there because it's closer.
- Kohl's. More affordable and stylish clothes. They have really good sales, and there's one really close to my house.
- Michael's. I can spend hours just looking at stuff at Michael's and getting ideas for craft projects. We've never had a Hobby Lobby before, but they are building one on the corner, right by my neighborhood! I'm thinking I'll have a new favorite if this place sells fabric.
- Home Depot/Lowes. I could literally spend a fortune in either store.
- Barnes and Noble. Who doesn't enjoy going into a bookstore with all of the potential stories there on the shelf, just calling your name to come and read them.
Now it's your turn. I want to know. And if you don't have a blog, just leave me your list in the comments, (this means you mom, wink)

Top 5 Tuesday
What are your top 5 biggest pet peeves?
I'm not sure why I picked this one, other than I wanted to get away from movies and tv, and I am trying to come up with things that don't have any requirements other than being human. I have tons of pet peeves, but there are some that bug me way more than others.
Here's mine:
- People who are unobservant and think they are the only people on earth. This applies to people who leave me change for more than one letter (usually like 10) that I have to put stamps on, and people who park in front of their own mailbox, or someone elses because they are only going to be there for a minute (you know that has to be the time I will come). This also includes shoppers who stand in the middle of an aisle blocking the way because they are either on the phone, or talking to someone they're with, and not paying attention. And people who try to give back mail that's addressed to Current Resident saying "Doesn't live here". Think about it stupid!
- Garage Sales - unless there's a good deal for me. If I'm working though, forget it.
- People (usually snowbirds) who drive around a parking lot for 15 minutes looking to get a spot close to the door. We live in the desert, it's not even cold here, if it was 15 below 0 I would understand. Get off your lazy butt and walk a little.
- People who complain, and ask for advice and then never do anything about their problem. I try not to complain (about things in my control) just for this reason. I don't want to have to feel obligated to use what people tell me, even if I think they are full of shit.
- People who literally live off of the government. I don't mean people who are having a tough time and it's temporary, I mean people who just don't work, and get every single kind of government assistance out there, indefinately. The ones who are waiting outside the post office and ask our janitor to see of they got their check yet. Oh, and the ones who just keep having kids and use them as an excuse for not working and being on welfare. I work hard for my money, but I only have a high school diploma, and it is possible to get a decent paying job, even with just a GED.
Wow, I guess I've got a lot, it was hard to choose, but these were the easiest to come up with on short notice, so they must be high up on the list. Now it's your turn!
Oops, I messed up Mr.Linky.
Also please e-mail me your questions for my 100th post extravaganza by tomorrow, thank you!

Top 5 Tuesday
It's time for another edition of Top 5 Tuesday!
This week I wanted to know:
What are your Top 5 favorite movies of all time?
Here's mine-
- Pretty Woman- The ultimate Cinderella story. Who doesn't love Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in that movie, they were just awesome.
- Where the Heart Is- I could watch this movie a thousand times and not get tired of it.
- Behind Enemy Lines- I think this was the first movie I saw Owen Wilson in that I actually liked, no LOVED! If it's on TV, I'll watch.
- The Shawshank Redemption- Just a great movie.
- Return To Me- Just a great romantic comedy.
These are my current Top 5's, although I'm sure I could move some around if I actually gave it some more thought.
(I have to say thank you to Simply Shannon for reminding me, I almost forgot about this until I saw your post. Maybe I should let you have it instead, hehe. I just have the worst memory. Plus I was working on a really big post which I will hopefully get done for Wed.)
Anyway, Please join me in Top 5 Tuesday and leave your link so we can check out your blog!!!

Top 5 Tuesday
Today I would like to ask...
What are your Top 5 shows you will be looking forward to this fall? Here's mine...
- Heroes
- Friday Night Lights
- LOST (next year)
- Brothers and Sisters
- Samantha Who?
It's a pretty sad list, but I have really gotten out of the habit of watching tv. I've been waiting for so long for Heroes I almost can't remember where it left off. I'm sure it will be the same way when I get to LOST next season. I think FNL is not back until January, or next year, if it even comes back. And I usually wind up watching Samantha Who online, because I can't ever remember that it's on. ( I made a cool mosaic of my shows, but I couldn't get it to upload, boohoo)
Now it's your turn! Leave me a comment and do a post on your site, and link up. I promise next week's Top Five Tuesday will be a better topic.
